What Is Coherence (aka Biological Coherency)?

Also Known As EKG/EEG Heart-Brain Coherency

In 1997 Russell Wright of Epimemetics LLC completed a 5 year internship with (the controversial) Daniel E Winter, one of the two original inventors of biological (heart) coherency EEG and EKG technology devices and epimemetic source behind the heart-entrainment and/or self-entrainment methods. Dan Winter separated from Roland McCraty of HeartMath in the late 80's, and both pursued the concept of biological coherency with their own views. Daniel E Winter's influence can be felt within Wright's personal memplex called Epimemetic Theory, as recursive mathematics and/or recursive embeddeness models are uniquely associated with Dan Winter's highly controversial work in the field of biological resonance.

Excerpt from Hearthmath Institute

If there is one word you should add to your vocabulary today, tomorrow or soon, it is biological coherence. All the research shows that when you have it, your life can be so much better than when you don’t. Add coherence to your personal lexicon, learn how to achieve it and experience the benefits within yourself and your environment.

Coherence "Coherence is the state when the heart, mind and emotions are in energetic alignment and cooperation," Institute of HeartMath Research Director Dr. Rollin McCraty says. "It is a state that builds resiliency – personal energy is accumulated, not wasted – leaving more energy to manifest intentions and harmonious outcomes."

McCraty and others with the institute have conducted studies that show a particularly effective method of achieving coherence that’s user-friendly and helps replace negative emotions with positive ones – emotion self-regulation.

Required Legal Disclaimer:

Dan Winter's work is highly controversial and due to an ongoing lawsuit, all publication and distribution of his work is banned in the United States. In no way does this website profess to publish and/or distribute Dan Winter's material, nor does it act as a webmaster for Dan Winter personally. For legal purposes, attorneys, or any other prosecutors, please note that my disclaimer has been archived on Webcitation.org in order to document and protect myself from any legal action. Please see the original publication of this page and this disclaimer at Cite This Page.

That being said, off the record, I believe Dan's work to be some of the most brilliant Epimemes of our century, meeting and transcending the brilliance of  Buckminster Fuller. Dan did not stop to cite every meme and had an unfortunate habit of non-citation synthesis within his own massive memeplex. Today this is called content remix.  Opinion: It can probably be assumed that written material that is banned and prosecuted to the extreme extent that Dan's has been, especially between the years 1990 - 2004, probably contains some VERY interesting and powerful Epimemes within the memeplex. That being said, please see the work of The Meru Foundation, to hear the other side of the story. As a creator of Epimemetic Philosophy, I am only interested in pure principles, and the accuracy of those principles, not legal disputes.
