Context Jacking

Context Jacking is when you remove (or borrow) a concept, meme, statement, or sentence from one context (digital or otherwise) and splice it into another (possibly unrelated) context (digital or otherwise) causing your content, product or message to increase in value and/or saliency.

Context Jacking is a pop-neologism created by technology inventor Russell Wright and software architect Sue Bell.
