Frequency of Publish (FOP)

Frequency of Publish (or FOP) is a term used by Network Empire to explain the ongoing SEO and visitor traffic benefits of blogging/blog pinging and/or online video broadcasting and/or blog casting. The Network Empire Team proposes that Google's  search engine algorithms have expanded to include "frequency of publish" as yet another factor for content ranking adequacy. The theory says that if a website is updating with fresh content on a regular basis then it is likely to be seen as more contemporary and valuable in the eyes of Google. Of course, other factors still stand such as:

1. Uniqueness of Content.

2. Keyword content and LSI (latent semantic indexing) relationships.

3. Inbound links (especially anchor text)

4. Internal site structure. (See Website Silo Architecture

5. Domain Authority
